Refund Policy

1. Scope

This policy applies to paid, time-based WeJot plans, including monthly and annual plans. You may request a refund for the unused portion of your current paid service period. Please read this policy together with our Terms of Service. For purchases without a service period, contact us with your order details so we can explain the applicable refund terms.

2. How we calculate your refund

Refund amount = amount actually paid for the current service period × unused days ÷ total days in that service period. We use the price you actually paid after discounts, rather than the undiscounted price. Total days means the actual number of calendar days covered by the purchased period; an annual plan is calculated over its annual period, not at the monthly list price.

Used days run from the start of the current paid service period through the date we receive your refund request, including that date, using UTC calendar dates. They are elapsed service days, whether or not you logged in or used features each day. Days before the service period starts are not counted, and used days cannot exceed the total days in the period. Unused days are total days minus used days. Our processing time does not add to your used days.

For example, if you paid USD 30 for a 30-day service period and request a refund after 10 counted service days, the refund is USD 30 × 20 ÷ 30 = USD 20. Refund amounts are rounded to the smallest unit of the payment currency. Any applicable tax adjustment is handled by the seller or payment provider.

3. How to request a refund

Email [email protected] with the email address associated with your WeJot account and your order or transaction reference, and state that you wish to end the paid plan and receive a refund for the unused days. You may include a reason to help us improve, but a reason is not required for this prorated refund. Do not send passwords or full payment-card details.

We will verify the purchase and confirm the service dates, used days and refund amount by email. If we need additional information to locate your order, we will let you know. The calculation uses the date of your original identifiable request, not the date we finish reviewing it.

4. Cancellation and paid access

Cancelling automatic renewal stops future renewals; it does not by itself request a refund for the current period. If you only cancel renewal, paid access continues until the end of the paid period. To end the current plan and receive the unused portion back, submit a refund request as described above.

When the refund is approved, access under the refunded plan ends and any future renewal of that plan is cancelled. Please export any information you need before requesting a refund. Account deletion and data retention are handled under our Privacy Policy.

5. Payment processing

Refunds are returned through the original payment channel where supported. The time for funds to appear depends on the payment provider and your bank; we will confirm when the refund has been submitted.

6. Your statutory rights

This prorated refund policy does not limit any mandatory consumer rights, including applicable withdrawal rights or remedies for a faulty or misdescribed service. Where applicable law or the seller’s applicable terms entitle you to a larger or full refund, those rights take precedence over the daily calculation above.
