Terms of Service

1. Agreement and operator

These terms govern your use of the WeJot international website and services provided by Zuoyou Cloud (Shenzhen) Network Co., Ltd. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy. If you use WeJot for an organization, you must have authority to act for it. A separately signed agreement takes priority for the matters it expressly covers.

2. Accounts and access

Account holders must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement. Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials and notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity you authorize and for managing team permissions. A survey respondent does not need to agree to unrelated subscription terms merely to answer a survey; the creator must provide appropriate participation information.

3. Your content and respondents

You retain your rights in content you submit. You authorize us and the providers used to deliver the service to host, process, transmit, reproduce and display that content as needed to provide the features you request. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content to us.

You must have the rights and legal grounds to collect and use survey responses, recordings, attachments and personal information. Explain the research purpose, identity of the creator, recording practices, intended recipients and contact route. Obtain permissions required by law, respect withdrawal and deletion requests, and use appropriate safeguards for children and sensitive information. You are responsible for your survey content, recruitment, incentives, sharing and use of results.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use the service for unlawful activity, deceptive research, harassment, infringement, malicious code, unauthorized access or attempts to bypass security or usage limits. Do not publish another person’s confidential information without authority. Do not use the service to make consequential decisions about people without appropriate human review and any safeguards required by law.

5. AI-generated content

AI outputs can be incomplete, inaccurate, biased or similar to outputs produced for others. Check generated questions, translations, code, classifications and reports before relying on or publishing them. Statistical or AI output is not a guarantee of representativeness or a substitute for professional advice. You remain responsible for decisions made using the service.

6. Plans, checkout and cancellation

Any available paid plan is described at checkout, including its price, currency, applicable taxes, term, usage limits and whether it renews automatically. Only the payment methods actually shown at checkout are available. No subscription renewal or payment-provider integration is promised solely by this page.

If a plan renews automatically, use the cancellation method stated at checkout or contact us for help before the renewal date. Account deletion and subscription cancellation can be separate actions. Refunds for time-based paid plans follow our Refund Policy: we deduct elapsed service days and refund the unused portion of the current paid period. Applicable mandatory refund and withdrawal rights remain unaffected. Contact [email protected] with your order reference for billing requests.

7. Availability and suspension

Features may change and service interruptions can occur. We may limit or suspend access to address security incidents, unlawful activity, material breaches or unpaid charges. Where practicable and appropriate, we explain the reason and provide an opportunity to address it. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, a particular service level or unlimited data retention unless separately agreed. Keep copies of important content.

8. Ending use and data

You may stop using the service and request account closure. Before closing an account, export information you need and address any active subscriptions. Access to hosted content may end when the account or relevant service ends. Deletion and any legally required retention follow the Privacy Policy and applicable agreements.

9. Intellectual property and third parties

WeJot software, branding and service materials remain protected by their owners’ rights. You may use them only as needed for authorized use of the service. External links and third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies. Their inclusion does not give you rights to third-party content.

10. Responsibility and disputes

Each party is responsible for its obligations under this agreement and applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections. Please contact us first so that we can attempt to resolve a concern.

Subject to any mandatory law and rights that apply in your place of residence, these terms are governed by the laws of mainland China. Disputes may be brought before a court with competent jurisdiction; this clause does not remove a consumer’s right to bring proceedings where mandatory law permits.

11. Updates and contact

We may update these terms as the service changes. We display the revision date and provide notice of material changes where required. Changes do not retroactively remove rights that have already accrued. Contact us using the operator information below.
